美高梅博彩 will host world-class pianist 丹尼尔许, bronze medalist in the 2017 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, on Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cruce Stark Auditorium as part of the Community 系列Texoma音乐会。

“The Cliburn Competition is widely-recognized as one of the world's highest-visibility classical-music contests and supports the careers of young pianists to share the transformative powers of music with a wide global audience,” said Dr. David Tercero, Program Director for the 美高梅博彩 Music Department.  “去年的音乐会太棒了，所以我希望这次音乐会也能很棒!”

丹尼尔·许是旧金山湾区人，6岁时跟随拉里萨·卡根开始学习。 8岁时，他在弗里蒙特交响乐团（Fremont Symphony Orchestra）首次演奏协奏曲，9岁时在湾区的施坦威协会（Steinway Society of the Bay Area）首次独奏，10岁时，他和两个哥哥姐妹一起被柯蒂斯音乐学院录取。 他是2015年音乐会艺术家协会Victor Elmaleh比赛的一等奖获得者，于4月17日在卡内基音乐厅首次亮相，目前是费城柯蒂斯音乐学院的Richard A. Doran研究员，在那里他曾与Gary Graffman， Robert McDonald和Eleanor Sokoloff一起学习。
